Skramz Mixtape Okay, first let me start out by saying that I really don’t give any fucks on genre. Next, let me say that I do not care what each subgenre is. So with both of those things said, I have made sort of a skramz mixtape. I know that everything on here is not skramz. You can call some of it 90’s emo, spoken word, screamo, melodic hardcore, jazzcore, etc. I don’t care. The point is that this is not what people would normally associate screamo music to today. I know you know what I’m talking about. I just felt like making a mixtape for my car and decided to share it here. I did not give this to my girlfriend because she would not enjoy this, so there is no awesome/cute story to go with it. Sorry. You can still download it at the bottom <3

Valentines Day Mixtape Now that Valentines Day is over, I can post this mixtape that I gave to my girlfriend. The majority of the tracks on it are the typical ‘I need you/I want you’ types, along with a few ‘I miss you’ songs. If I had to pick a favorite song on it, I would choose Melee - Built To Last. The lyrics describe, for the most part, our relationship. Just knowing each other for so long, never doing anything about us back when we were just friends, and how it is now. I think things would have been so different if we actually had started our lives together all those years ago. Anyways, here is the mixtape. Download is available at the bottom of the post.

A Mixtape From Her. So, I don’t actually post as many mixtapes here as I give her. I’m not quite sure why, but I feel like everybody enjoys the pictures with lyrics combo. Anyways, I probably make her a few mixtapes every few weeks. I guess it would only be time before she made me a few of her own. Favorites Mixtape So it’s been a few weeks since I have posted an actual mixtape that I have gave to my girlfriend. A week ago, she asked me what some of my all time favorite songs were. So instead of listing them all off, I decided to make her a mixtape of about half of my favorites. When I was making it, I was realizing that a lot of the songs were older (read: early 2000s). Why do we always come back to the songs we grew up with? Anyways, I won’t go into boring details why each of them made this half of my favorites. I gave it to her and I did get a text from her saying that she loves this cd. I even burned it for myself and listened to it on the ride home and every time a new song came on, I remember thinking to myself, “Man, I love this song.”

P.s. I miss you With the holidays just around the corner, I needed to come up with some gifts for my girlfriend. I’m not normally a last minute shopper, but this year I didn’t jump at getting my shopping done. With only two weeks until Christmas, I was frantically searching high and low for the perfect gifts. After I was able to find things for my family, I needed to switch gears and find some things for my girlfriend. It probably took me three full days of driving around the entire state of Michigan to find what I wanted to get her. The main item I got her was a purse hand-made by some Native American tribal women. It was exactly her style and I knew that it was ‘her’ as soon as I saw it. I also found some perfume, and some little odds and ends. And as always, I made her a mixtape, titled P.s. I miss you - A breakup mixtape.
Before I go any further, I’d like to say that my girlfriend is a sucker for breakup, sad, i-miss-you songs.
Fast forward to last night. We decided to do Christmas a little early because it gets really hectic on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day due to family and parties. She opens up her purse and loves it. She opens up the perfume and said she never smelled it before, but that she really liked it. The rest of it was good as well. The mixtape would decide if i would go perfect for all the Christmas gifts.

An Acoustic Album I wanted to take my girlfriend out on a nice date. I planned everything out. I ordered a flower arrangement from the local florist. I got her stargazer lilies and two pink roses, symbolizing herself and I, because those are her favorite. I checked out the movie times so that I could correspond dinner. And finally, I sat down to make her an acoustic mixtape.
And as expected, I showed up to her house. I kissed her, and she wrapped her arms around to hug me, and found thee bouquet of flowers. She was so excited. I loved that moment. We went to dinner at Carabbas and shared a Chocolate Dream for dessert. Headed to the movie and had frozen cokes. After that I had nothing planned because I wasn’t sure how late she wanted to stay out, but she told me she’d like to come over. So she did, and we watched tv and snuggled up on the couch. Around 1am, I took her home and gave her the mixtape I made. An Acoustic Album. She kissed me goodnight.
Tonight was perfect.
